Staying Busy

Okay, so this is a little better than 2 months later than the last blog, but not by much! The twins continue their typical growth as Euhus boys. They're almost 7 months old now and are in 9-12 and 12-18 month clothes. Andrew has yet to find a food he doesn't like and Evan is keeping up with him, except when it comes to the green vegetables! Naptimes are becoming more predictable and they even nap together in the afternoon most days for an hour or two. They are both becoming quite proficient at rolling over whenever they want to and Evan can even turn himself around in circles. No crawling yet, but I'm sure that will happen in a few months when they tire of watching big brother Josh run all over the place.

Josh is finishing up his last month of preschool before starting Kindergarten in August. Dan was able to go on a field trip with his class last week to an oil ranch park (only in Texas!) and I was able to go to his Easter party at school and help him hunt for eggs. It seems like we spend most weekends these days going to someone's birthday party which only encourages Josh to talk about his upcoming 5th birthday and what he wants to get. :) He still loves to play Wii and is actually pretty good at Tiger Woods Golf. But Josh loves to practice in the backyard with his real golf clubs and wiffle balls. His latest activity though has been to pretend he is Luke Skywalker on a mission through our house to save Princess Leia from Darth Vader. You'd better either stay out of his way or join him on his quest to beat the bad guys!

Dan and I are staying extremely busy. It seems like the only time we have to chat is for an hour each evening after everyone is asleep or on the phone when he's at work. I'm working on setting up babysitting so we can at least get out once a month for a date. It's crazy in our house, but we know we are so blessed. Someday I know I'll look back on the chaos and noise and miss these days!
The pictures of the three boys and Andrew smiling are from Easter Sunday at Uncle Jeff's house. The picture of Evan in the seat is just so typical of his normal pose and look. He likes to smile, but it's hard to get the picture taken quick enough. Enjoy!
